Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and may process this information to deliver pages, prevent abuse and maintain availability.

How is Google Analytics used?

With your consent, Google Analytics 4 may measure visits, page views, approximate geography, device category, referral source and interactions so the site can understand which historical subjects readers find useful. The measurement identifier is G-VH8NK79M2V. Analytics is not intended to identify you by name. Google may process data according to its own terms and privacy documentation.

What happens before a visitor gives consent?

The website initializes Google’s consent settings with analytics and advertising storage denied. If you accept analytics, the setting is updated and measurement can use the permitted storage. If you decline, the website remembers that choice locally and keeps analytics storage denied. Essential hosting, security and network functions may still operate because they are required to provide and protect the website.

How can a consent choice be changed?

Use the “Cookie choices” control in the footer to reopen the consent panel. You may then accept or decline analytics again. Clearing browser storage can also remove the saved choice, in which case the panel will be shown on a later visit.

What happens when WhatsApp or email is used?

If you contact Dror by email or WhatsApp, you choose to provide details such as your name, contact information, message, organization and proposed lecture or tour requirements. That information is used to answer the inquiry, plan requested services, maintain necessary records and protect legitimate interests. WhatsApp and your email provider process information under their own policies.

Is personal information sold?

No. Dror Alon does not sell personal information. The website does not use the information you send to create unrelated marketing lists. Service providers may process limited information to host, secure, measure or communicate through the website, subject to their services and applicable law.

How long is information retained?

Inquiry records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, administer an agreed service, meet accounting or legal duties, resolve disputes and protect rights. Analytics and security retention periods are controlled through the relevant provider settings and may change. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible.

What choices and rights may apply?

Depending on applicable law, you may ask whether personal information about you is held and request access, correction or deletion. Some requests may be limited where retention is required by law, necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or technically controlled by another provider.
